Cincinnati SFTL

The Cincinnati SFTL provides an affordable, right-sized solution for the production of long narrow flat parts, nested multi-part laminates, drape-formed skins, and more. Typical parts for which the SFTL is well-suited include spars, stringers, beams, ply packs, shear ties, frames, flaps and skins, to name just a few.

  • Two models: Standard width for laminates up to 1.4 m (55 in) wide; Wide width for laminates up to 3.2m (126 in) wide
  • Bed-type configuration with versatile tape head and integral vacuum lay-up table
  • Low profile design fits easily into low-bay areas and mounts on simple flat floor, no special foundation needed
  • Delivers unmatched lay-down rates, accuracies and compaction forces for error free, high-quality production

ACES Advanced Composites Environment Suite

 

The CHARGERTM Tape Layer Series utilizes ACES programming and simulation software. This PC-based tool is compatible with CATIA V4 and V5, CATIA CWB/CD3 and FiberSIM, and provides a variety of path generation types. ACES supports part programming, part simulations, productivity analysis and production with the latest industrial processor technology and production animations. This system significantly reduces risk and insures part producibility before shop floor production begins

The CHARGERTM Series CM100 Control is the only control designed specifically for automated composites processing. This powerful, yet easy-to-use control features an open-architecture design powered by the latest industrial processor technology and digital servo drives to deliver fast, smooth and accurate machine motion
